So this was my first photo tour back in 2010.
Moldoveanu peak is the highest in Romania and I wanted to have it written on my (very short) accomplishment list 😛
We started on a Saturday morning at 7AM from Victoria city and by the time we got to Moldoveanu Peak it was already 7PM.
This is the church in the middle of the city, perfectly symmetrical with the two peaks that you can see in the background
This is where we slept, at Podragu cabin which is a very cold and the simplest cabin with not very much food to offer as it is situated at an altitude of over 2000 meters and more than 7 hours of walking distance.
All of its food is gathered by animals who transport it there.
Having said that, we tasted the most delicious tomato soup ever! 🙂 of course we were starving so anything would have been ok.
Hope you liked the pictures that I took here and in the near future I will explore some other mountains and assemble a crew for another photo tour on the mountains as I would to explore as much as possible..
